YOUTH IN THE OUTDOORS 9AM to 2PM All area youth are invited to experience the outdoors Activities include: Outdoor crafts and painting demonstrations from area businesses orienteering outdoor cooking canoeing educational demonstrations .22 & BB gun target shooting casting activities fly fishing & fly tying archery shooting safari van international DNR "Wall of Shame" trailer bounce house Some activities are targeted but not limited to ages 3 - 13 free lunch and lemonade for the kids Food available to purchase…

The Wild Rice Pow-Wow, in celebration of the annual wild rice harvest, is held 2 miles west of Danbury on Highway 77. In recent years the pow-wow has been restored to its original status of a traditional pow-wow. The annual event brings hundreds of dancers and singers from all over the Midwest and Canada. The pow-wow features arts & crafts and traditional Native American food.
